You're all gonna look real dumb when the bullpen holds this for 3 more innings.

wait, which Toronto sports team are we talking about here?
birky.bsky.social
haha no. It always requires work. To me, the difference is whether this person makes you want to put in the work or not.

...except PT plywood expands during the process, so the new piece I added was thicker than 1/2". Should've just used regular, cheap old plywood.

So then I had to spend a few hours with a belt sander flattening the seams. So much fun.

e.g. our 2nd floor subfloor is double layered, 1/2" on bottom and 5/8ths on top. I ripped out the top sheet and cut out a 4x3 section of the bottom layer, and replaced it with a piece of pressure treated plywood, which is best for bathroom subflooring...

Currently redoing one of our bathrooms after a leak. It's fun to learn how to do all of these things, and you can learn so much these days off reddit and youtube, but sometimes you just gotta learn the hard way.

Always good to remember that the Jays are, if nothing else, a Toronto sports team.

Also, really appreciate that you post your stuff here and not just on the other site.

I bought a membership last year, but since I don't really gamble I didn't feel it was worth renewing at the current price point. I realize the effort that goes into collecting all that data is significant, but I wish there were other membership options.

Hey Nate - I really appreciate your stuff, especially the snap reports. I don't know if it's something the site would consider, but I'd love a membership option that grants access to the articles without the stats package at a reduced price.

As in credits. Microsoft credits OpenAI with free server time as opposed to money. OpenAI reports this as investment income. OpenAI then redeems this credited server time, which Microsoft then claims as revenue, creating billions out of thin air.

[A farmer looks out his window at the For Sale sign down the end of his long driveway. Soybeans are rotting in his fields; there are no workers to pick them and no markets to sell them. Fox & Friends blares on the tv in the background.]

"This is what Jesus would've wanted," he says confidently.

There is no bailout that will solve this problem.

It took decades to create the markets for beans and months to devastate the markets for beans.

NY Times: China Bought $12.6 Billion in U.S. Soybeans Last Year. [52% of exports] Now, It’s $0.
