Mirage. I don’t wanna root for them to miss the playoffs, but this team would lose in the first round. Is it really worth going hard for the third WC just to get knocked out in the first round? What about the rebuild?

Do you think they have for sure decided on selling? I hope they do, but I still worry that a couple wins might trick them into buying or holding.

I’m still worried that they haven’t fully committed to selling. They keep saying “how we play will dictate what we do” but if they sweep the rockies and/or win the padres series, does that give them a false sense of security that leads them to not sell?

It sounds like they want to keep Helsley, but are they at least listening to offers for him?

Just watched this. You really hit the nail on the head here. This team ain’t winning shit. Mo needs to swallow his pride and understand that. Not trading those guys will set this team back and leave an even bigger mess for Chaim to clean up. But Mo will probably hold onto them anyway 🙄

It’s shameful. They can spin it either way. Runway or trying to win. But keeping Fedde here proves that they’re lying either way. There’s more pitching depth than they like to say there is, so there’s no excuse not to call up McGreevy

I would still argue selling is the best choice. This team isn’t going anywhere and if they got to the playoffs they would lose in the first round. They still can’t compete with the best teams regardless of what they do. They need to understand that. Thoughts?
