Of course when you know the people well it can change the estimate per person. A few kids, small women, etc., I might aim more towards 55-60. A gaggle of gluttonous men, 75-80. But I've found over the years that 60 per person usually works well for an average balanced group of adults

It helps to know your squares up to 20. 10 is 100, 12 is 144, 14 is 196, 16 is 256, 18 is 324

My rule of thumb is ~60-70 in² per person assuming pizzas are squares (since multiplying everything by π/4 overcomplicates things for no reason). 9 people, that's roughly 600 in² so you could go with three 14" and that should cover it. One 18" and one 16" could do it as well.

That has to be a GLG but I don't know the specifics of that one, it's probably sub-unit wall normal nonsense bullshit, maybe even like 0.001 of a unit type stuff depending on exactly what it is

Turning it off locally is good, but yeah, the issue is the creators can't turn it off from their own videos.

I think the game will be a very good speedrun, and I'm pretty sure the devs will embrace a speedrunning community forming around the game! I have already done some runs of the demo and I plan on taking care of the game's SRC page when it comes out.

To give you a fuller answer, I know some of the devs personally and I have given them my tips on what makes a good speedrunning game and imo the game's core movement mechanics tick many boxes. There could be some issues with pacing resets and autoscrollers but we'll see when the full game comes out.
