Ah, to have the absolue joy of a bear cub that makes off with a neighbor's package. Little guy was stoked.

Was really interesting to get to tour several local places related to Floyd Collins on the 100th anniversary of his death. Absolutely crazy that the cave owner dug him up and put his body in the cave as a tourist attraction. Crazier that it stayed there until 1989. Thankfully now only a picture.

Behold! The salt and pepper shaker museum. We held off on trying this one out forever but it's actually pretty cool. Hundreds of thousands of these things and they're curated by type/color/etc. Truly one of the last uncommercialized tourist attractions, it was only $3 to get in.

I love out of the way museums. This is from the Ben Crawford museum in Marion, KY this weekend. Just an enormous collection of Flourite and other local minerals. They take an interest in something specific that you just don't get in the larger, all-purpose museums that try to be all things.

Found this terrifying Easter guy at an antique place. It lights up. It judges you. It steals your soul.
