The dispose pattern in #dotnet is a gift that keeps on giving. 🤯

It seems that not even Microsoft is capable of documenting it correctly: https://github.com/dotnet/docs/issues/51019
Example does no longer implement dipose pattern correctly and unmanaged resources are no longer disposed · Issue #51019 · dotnet/docs
Type of issue Code doesn't work Description The example ExampleConjunctiveDisposableusing does no longer implement the dispose pattern correctly. Since this change made by the Copilot AI, the Dispo...

@vernissage How do #vernissage and #pixelfed relate to each other? Is Vernissage „just“ a Pixelfed client? I suppose not because there is a server component https://github.com/VernissageApp/VernissageServer

But Impressia the iOS client for Vernissage mentions Pixelfed […]

I can't believe how good the Azure DevOps Plugin for IntelliJ is.

It's got all the features you can think of so you never have to use the Azure DevOps web UI again. Especially being able stay in the IDE for PR code reviews is very helpful.

Anyone who has to work with Azure DevOps and uses a […]

Another #dotnet #oss project is gone

I have been a user, sponsor and great fan of @nuke
for a long time. I really think it is quite an elegant approach for build automation for .NET.
I hope that the last word hasn’t been said yet and that there is still a future for Nuke, maybe even a […]

@bradwilson I saw your issue about #jetbrainsrider not supporting @xunit v3 with Microsoft.Testing.Platfrom v2

With #dotnet 10 how would a minimal project using MTP v2 and #xunit v3 look like now.

Like this?

Or do I still need the xunit.v3 […]

I just tried the new Modernize with #githubcopilot feature in #visualstudio2026 to upgrade a real life solution from #dotnet 8 to 10. I even subscribed to GitHub Coplitot Pro for this.

It was an utter disaster. It worked forever on this, kept failing on […]
