iOS engineer, Apple fan and tech lover. I mainly talk about iOS development and the apps I make.
I'm also adding something paper users love: personalization. This first iteration will have more color and let you customize it to your style. I'll add more personalization options soon and I'm open to your feedback.

Up until now Numly was a way of connecting digital info like a file or a URL with a code so you could write down the code and always go back to it. Now Numly will also support short notes. Don't expect a note editor, just brief notes to save things when you are away from paper.

I'll continue working on my apps, delivering new stuff always following the same guidelines: fair pricing, family sharing, no accounts, no privacy compromises. I hope you join me on this crazy journey.

Finally, my most successful app to date: Undolly. Undolly 3.0 continues the philosophy that sets it apart in cleaning similar photos. We all want to recover some space, but often that space is filled with memories. No AI can decide what to delete for us. undolly.app/

Here's a quick update on the new things I've released. Koubou is now open source, designed to generate App Store screenshots using a simple YAML file. It supports live mode, integrates seamlessly with LLMs, and is impressively fast. Check it out: github.com/bitomule/Ko...

I've used paid apps for a long time but now war is over, I can use Koubou to craft good shots including frames, multiple devices, localization. Mix it with an E2E tool to grab simulator mocked screenshots and fastlane, and you have a fully automated process.

I've been working on it for some months now and learned a lot. It still may have a lot of issues and things I want to improve, but I'm happy using it across my app portfolio to automate. It plays nicely with AI agents or just CLI fans.

WhatsApp and Captures are a bit more classical but still Undolly style. One photo at a time, add to delete queue, clean up all when ready. Undo, sharing.

Videos are muted by default to spare you any noisy surprises during those 3 a.m. device clean-ups.

I emphasized the share option for videos so you can effortlessly send them to others or store them elsewhere. Videos hog space, and deleting them isn't always what we want.

Compress offers background compression, letting you review while it works. Once done, the app will request permission to delete the original video and save the new one, as required by Apple APIs.

The answer I have is a TikTok-like UI where you only see one video. Of course, with the familiar Undolly bottom toolbar that has 3 new buttons: delete, compress, and share.

I've been pondering how to align these features with Undolly principles, aiming to make cleaning big videos a mindful, conscious experience where you connect with memories while deciding.
