Happy to see you here as I've been vibing to your Mass Effect Playthrough all week. I'm actually starting to pull everything from the other place as well.

I talked about this with some friends but essentially when social media encourages the Road Rage effect where you dehumanize everyone behind text AND everyone isn't forming relationships outside of the parasocial, friends, lovers, etc are all seen as interchangeable. It sucks and it's sad. =/

It doesn't help that social media has encouraged parasocial relationships with identities and media to the point where people form their identities around media and people who echo their sentiments vs making real connections with actual people as well. They see it all as disposable.
