What happened to the voters list this year? How many others were dropped off of it and didn't bother to deal with it for all kinds of good reasons?

What happened to the voters list this year? How many others were dropped off of it and didn't bother to deal with it for all kinds of good reasons?
1. I was not on the voter's list.
2. I called and was told I needed to come in person to register.
3. I went down to register, and then was told to come back when my ballot was ready.
4. The postal strike + work travel meant I could not just vote on election day, and could not mail in my ballot.

Also fun fact, searching for “divorce anthems” on spotify leads to all kinds of entertaining playlists including some separated out by moms versus dads! What a genre!
