That's a bit of a low bar considering a trained monkey could beat Trump in a debate, but I do agree.

See that's the crazy part. Being that this was 8 years ago, Bernie would have won based on the polls (which were far more accurate) while Clinton was always projected to lose should Trump have been the nominee. And I don't think it matters if he supported Dems, he supported the people in the US.

Let's not discount the Amish in that equation.

Keep in mind that we had the chance to elect a Jewish president 8 years ago with Bernie Sanders and yet the Ds chose to screw him over and put up Clinton. Yet he still is on our side and fights for the people that need it.

That's not quite right actually. Our economy hit it's recession point in February 2020 shortly before Covid caused what you call a shut down. Problem is, we were never fully shut down cause Trump kept saying "it'll go away". But also that's not fascism by it's very definition.

Oh, I'm not fully blaming corporate greed at all, simply saying it's a factor. We did have inflation because of the supply chain issues during Covid. And that was actually brought under control. It just took time. Trump is once again going to inherent a booming economy. And wreck it.

I suppose only time will tell what's going to happen, though I have little reason to doubt any of this considering what happened the last time he was in office.

Look believe what you want, I'm just passing along information. Yes we do grow some fruits and vegetables, but the vast majority is imported. In fact a lot of our food is actually imported from Mexico.
November 27, 2024 at 5:56 AM
Last thing I swear, but I feel you're underestimating the amount of corporate greed that will ensue.
November 27, 2024 at 5:47 AM
And no we actually aren't in a recession currently. We have actually had the strongest bounce back post Covid of any first World nation. That's what Trump will inherent and ruin. Also this information is from economists at places like Goldman Sachs.

You are correct that tariffs, when used properly, will have that effect. Based on his history (second time around after all) and how he insists tariffs work, this will not be the reality. Sure some things can be American made. But a majority of things like fruits and vegetables simply can't.
November 27, 2024 at 5:45 AM
It does make sense if you put it in terms of them charging more for the services they provide and therefore getting richer while regular people suffer. Between this plan and his tariffs, we're likely looking at not just a recession, but a depression.

I would give it a watch more for the amazing late great Carl Weathers more than anything else.
