Idk man, I feel like it's a good call to arms. Furries will pay good money to have their fursona modeled for vr, and the audiences do line up. The metaverse is now and it's only for the furries.

These transcripts are done by fans, by hand, and usually aren't available until hours after the comic posts. It's nice to have, but they take too much time. Again, it doesn't handle transcription, and you can't go back and add alt text, so why not use it with a disclaimer?

This is also a bot that watches this feed, pulls the title text from the website, and replies with it, then generates the explainxkcd link because they use the same url scheme. Nothing about this bot handles the description of the original image. I'm saying a fan project shouldn't be required.

I'm building a TweetDeck-like client for Bluesky which should help journalists gather info more quickly, please let me know if you have any ideas for features that would help journalists specifically (apart from multi-account which I'm already working on)

Respectfully, in a process that is clearly handled by an automated system that won't be able to add descriptive text, it would be nice to have the feature act in some fashion similar to the original intent with a disclaimer. Agree to disagree.
