Have not been to the state fair in years, the combination of heat, huge crowds and greasy, fatty (albeit incredibly tasty looking) foods would be a recipe for disaster for me. However I am looking forward to having a legendary turkey leg at the Ren fest tomorrow!

You have to remember certain aspects of games are always going to be subjective. Just because it didn't resonate with Jake doesn't mean other people might not find it outstanding. I have faith in Obsidian, they haven't let me down like the other big name RPG Studios lately.

Still haven't beaten either final boss. They feel leagues above the final boss from the first game in terms of difficulty.

I feel you. Being hard on myself is one of my biggest problems. I just feel such a mix of anger, embarrassment and shame. It's hard to cope sometimes.

I still think it's worth playing, but if you aren't chomping at the bit, wait until its on sale. The gameplay is better than the previous 3 by a long shot, but the majority of the writing is so cringy and pedantic, I feel like chat GPT could have doner a better job.

This response is so incredibly out of touch. Its heart wrenching that the people making decisions that affect the future of beloved series and IP's like Dragon Age aren't gamers themselves, just corpo robots whose only concern is 'number go up'.
