So there IS a chance for next year, lol. What is more likely- they draft a defensive playmaker on the line or in the secondary? I think Goodberry mentioned the biggest issue being pass rush, but the safety play is so so bad, too. Which of those should be easier for the FO to fix?

How long does it to put together a top 15 defense? How hard is it to go from 15 to 10? What should my expectations be for a "successful" season next year, from a roster building standpoint? Don't want to be impatient, but I also don't know how difficult it is create a defense to match the offense.
