True. I'm sure Kendrick has a much better deal now than before, but I don't know if Drake is the best source for what Kendrick's previous deal was (per the guy in the video). And if that had a significant bearing on his song choice vs his artistic preferences.

So I hear what this guy is saying, and not saying it couldn't be a factor, but I think it's a little short-sighted. At least in how it's presented. Especially when how he describes Kendricks deal and why he split from TDE is inconsistent with how Kendrick describes it himself.
