Whether right or wrong, I cleared the snow from the driveway from 5:40 to 6:10 or so. I hate having snow down when rain is coming - if it doesn’t melt completely you end up with a mess that will inevitably freeze solid. We’ll find out if laziness was the better plan.

I wonder which government and which leader is best able to navigate this. Our options today seem inadequate. Will we focus on appeasement, will we turn our gaze east and west? Will we turn everything into a fight with our elephant neighbour?

I will never understand the obsession with corporations buying housing. They’re not buying them and leaving them empty, they’re buying them and renting them out. A corporate-owned rental home is still an occupied home. Better that than a private buyer who leaves it empty 11 months of the year.

The blatant vote-grubbing from the Liberals is ridiculous. Instead of focusing on policies to help Canada prosper they’re throwing bread-and-circus bribes to try to garner votes.
