Hang in there. I set an alert for sunrise and sunset so I’m not caught by surprise darkness at this time of year. It’s good to know that at this point the nights aren’t getting any longer, the only way is up.

Thanks. It’s all very strange, her body catching up with her mind & soul, so to speak. Weird grieving someone who’s been gone for years. I’m okay till I’m not, then I’m okay again. I really wish you could mute dementia awareness ads on the tv as easily as you can on fb/x etc.

Yes, it would have been January of 2006(?), I was in town for Nan’s funeral. If I recall correctly the weather was foul then too and Bruce was guarding the kitchen. Unsurprisingly you were decorating the stairs 🤣 Recovering from Mam’s funeral And the inevitable flare that followed. Otherwise okay.
