20 years ago I was saved from myself by random chance. I owe people I will never know more than they will ever know. Music changes lives, that dumb stupid band you start might just save a life, probably many.

Much as I love vinyl, the sales figures for Life of a Showgirl mildly alarm me. 1.2 million copies sold on vinyl in 3 days? That is a lot of plastic, and manufacture and distribution. The role of vinyl in small and underground acts can't be overstated, but at Swift's size, is it irresponsible?

I have a tiny first world problem. A spider has taken up residence inside one of the speedcubes on my desk, now I can't do any solves for fear of blendering the little chap (are spider guts a good cube lube?) Anyone have the optimum prompt for how to safely extricate arachnids from twisty puzzles?
