Was in Munich last month. Was surprised how much less expensive restaurants were. With Germany paying a living wage for wait staff I expected high prices.

First priority during a shut down should be paying people who have to work. Congress should be the ones not being paid. They caused the whole thing. Yes I’ll be pissed if my trip is interrupted after planning it 8 months ago.

Yes. My thyroid med and statin is covered 100%. My insurance for hydroxychloroquine would be $120 for 90 days. GoodRx is $60. I wouldn’t reach my deductible anyways so I go with GoodRx. I can’t complain because the plan D I have hasn’t charge a fee for the past 2 years.

City and county commissions can’t stop developments from going in. DeSantis and the republican legislature put a stop to that. At least St. John’s county is trying to stop the developers from clear cutting the land.

This is a beautiful area full of wetlands. Every year more and more expensive houses are built in this area. On the ocean side McMansions have been built so there is no public beach access.

Last fall Medicare covered the Pfizer vaccine while Moderna had to be paid out of pocket. Because of this more elderly people received Pfizer vaccine.

Employers know they pay low wages so they provide an employee snack rack in the break room for those who are hungry and can’t afford food. Companies paying low wages are subsidized by the government. More taxes should be paid by companies that have employees on Medicare and SNAP.
