They don’t have to. It’s language evolving in a unique environment — online written word. More things are possible BECAUSE it’s not spoken aloud. The same patterns that happen in real life happen here too, but in different ways. Essentially, Twitter and Bluesky have an online dialect, slang and all

I think it’s a case of an acronym becoming a word in its own right. Things like laser and radar did the same thing. I think it’s actually really cool that this kind of thing happens organically in online spaces too. Language and culture are no longer bound geographically. It’s rad.

I also appreciate Star Wars when I look at it in the lens of fighting fascism, and that even if you do lose (the Republic fell to the Empire), you can still fight on and win another day (the Rebels ending the Empire). It’s a perspective of hope. Hope of BECOMING the Star Trek universe. One day.

I agree, that honestly would’ve been perfect. Just one of the unique limitations of animation I guess. Still would give it a 10/10 one the basis that no show is perfect. This one just came pretty damn close

I would still say the pacing harmed it a bit, but I also think it was the best it could’ve been given the restraints and resources. Some things would’ve benefited a lot from having room to breathe or flesh out, there just wasn’t enough time to do so.
