This is just unfair. Your player autonomy is important. So what if garlic would make you mostly immune to the bad guys? So what if they were to bite you and die? That woman is being entirely unfair.

As a player: the kind of mechanical chaos that comes from understanding the core of the game mechanics well enough to break it.

The bosses in the cave dungeons, pretty common but still an amazing feat for a first timer. Beating main bosses, pretty rare for new player. Even rarer if it was your first ever souls boss.
