I’ve been on both sides of the pen, mic, camera, have been denied by paywalls and disrespected by “media” people and personalities who feel their platform will do the work for them.

I’ve been doing this for a long time. I’ve seen it all, from having to write your own article for a site (yes that really happens) to writing articles about other artists for a publication and interviewing them on the radio.

I’ve taken random pieces here and included it in this post, but this is the kind of stuff we don’t see anymore. It’s not about the positive or negative, it’s about the thought that went into it.

So yeah, long story short I hassled @bcmusic1st and we hit up @manbitesdogrecords and they were with it.

We also had these wild videos for the singles that @captainimmondizia fka King Z and @fringelifesquad aka @asonintrigue & @derekstewart44 did for us.

One time Slug from @atmosphere told me something along the lines of “just because I just finished the project that I feel tells you who I am doesn’t mean I should deprive my audience of the art I have in my basement that got me here.”

I still wanted to put this thing out though, and between projects I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

and I started working with @dubsonata for a single release also on #manbitesdogrecords that would eventually lead to us creating “Much Given, Much Tested” in the midst of some crazy times in both of our lives.

(That was a lot!)

Then the world ended.

Fortunately the universe had other plans and out of nowhere I ended up joining @strangefamousrecords and releasing 2 albums with @mopes_sfr then a punk project with @armagideontimerva on @anticorpmusic as well as an ep with @ohbliv on @manbitesdogrecords
