The development of electronic music is deeply connected to the works of people of color and LGBTQI+ — look at Wendy Carlos, Frankie Knuckles or Jeff Mills. The modern demand that Techno shall remain ‚apolitical‘ is therefore ignorant of the music‘s very own history.
