Per capita we take in a high number of refugees. People from developing countries. But then 🇨🇦 gives them programs and supports to succeed and by and large they do.

I see this as evidence of inefficiency because then they will let in someone who speaks no English and has no education. It’s almost random.
For what it’s worth English is my second language and I have a weird set of skills and could have immigrated when I was 18 with no education. 🤷♀️

Well it is clearer that we agree on. But stricter because I was honestly shocked by how chaotic and full of holes the US system is. You let in ppl who don’t speak English, for example, whereas we would never. They need a valid English language test result )or French if they want to immigrate to QC).

Most Canadians’ first definition when asked is “Not American” so not quite. One of the few countries, I believe, where self ID is based on not being like your neighbour 😂
