The @transacademy.bsky.social celebrated it's 3rd anniversary last night with its brand new world created by @rio-grande.bsky.social with live music and great DJ sets. It's so optimized, even with 100 folks, it ran so well!

Appreciate everyone who has made it the wonderful community it is today! 💜

We lost a member of our VR community over the weekend. My best friend, @okamis.bsky.social, passed away peacefully.

They loved helping as many people as they could; A kinder heart I've never known.

Rest easy, I love you ❤️

If you would like to send a message to their family, please contact me.

I definitely feel like I don't connect with sitting in publics anymore. If I run out of new worlds to explore, I'll hop through a bunch of the top listed publics to get a vibe of the community at large but I don't tend to linger.

My nights are usually exploring all the new worlds of the day until the world fills up, then a friends+ hangout. Put on some music and chill until bed, unless there's specific special event to go to (like Pride/Furality/Concrete/Moon Pool/Birthdays/etc).

There is a person on Reddit called "Crafty-Average-586" who called out the "Steam Frame" name a day before the trademark was registered and has also said these things:

Hmmmmmm....

particle pool was absolutely also inspired by previous works we had seen!! i'm very happy to hear we could be part of that cycle of innovation, and i'm excited to see what y'all do with yours:)

fun fact: moon_pool's particle shader was then adapted into both the SNR hologram and my star world!~

322,000 particles or so I think

I threw this shader together for Stage Flight. It works similarly to the fast gpu particle shader I wrote for Somna.

Works entirely on a video mapped input; color, depth, and xyz bias.

Absolutely inspired by a world I saw a year ago. Particle Pool or such?

I was wondering if it was inspired by Moon Pool! The shader was beautiful, loved it!

Specularium by jasper 。 is a ~30 minute VRChat journey that explores of the concept of surveillance through dystopian environmental storytelling.

Striking visuals mixed and a haunting score; with an audiovisual performance w/ music from Ryoji Ikeda, using sine wave/white noise to convey meaning.
