Precedent doesn't matter to Trump. We are dealing with lawless grifter here. What DOES matter to Trump is mass protest. He knows that the public is unhappy. Folks need to be in the streets in MUCH larger numbers and consistently. Not just once every 4 months at a No Kings rally.

I am fairly certain that Trump will NOT obey election laws regarding the midterms because why would he? He will just say the US is at war (and if we are not technically at war now bc no Congressional approval for Venezuela, we surely will be by then due to Trump's decision to make the US a global 👇

Multiple elections also took place during wartime, *including* Lincoln's reelection during the Civil War. There is NO precedent or mechanism to suspend elections, full stop.

I’m acting in assumption of election happening. I’m also assuming the regime will try everything to silence my vote. I suggest everyone check their voting status at least monthly. I help people register to vote. I call, write, email Congress (🤷‍♀️, but I do) daily. I even have pretty scented cards.

Trump has sued 40 states to obtain voter rolls for uncertain purposes. Elections won’t be cancelled, as you say, but they’re going to play every hand possible.

Stop listening to doomer idiots. Prepare for the elections to not be 'free and fair' - sure, that's sensible. But preparing for them to just not happen is extremely stupid and obeying in advance. We deserve better from each other. So don't ask if we're having elections. Ask how to secure the votes.

I was thinking the other day that any person who accepts a position in this administration essentially requires a research audit. Not all of it will be fraud, but I’d bet a remarkably large percentage.
