I think so too! They had a whole basket of quilts, and my kids loved admiring them all and picking out the "best" one for our new kitty.

I remember listening to this as a kid in the US south - they sounded so exotic! I think of it every spring now that I live in the PNW surrounded by rhododendron - never would have imagined all those years ago. :)

I think there's also some benefit to giving people an accessible starting point to form solidarity. The main one I've been seeing for 2-28 is a buy nothing (anywhere) day followed by a schedule of the kinds of boycotts that increase in specificity and duration that take more time to organize well.

A few weeks ago my inbox was totally slammed b/c scammers signed me up for hundreds of government mailing lists from places like the NIH, DoJ, etc so that they could cover a few accounts they tried to set up using my email. It turns out you don't have to click a "verify this email" link or anything.
