It took me 3 nights to finish the audiobook. I want more. I've been in such a holding pattern for things to read that I allowed FB to sell me an urban fantasy series where the main protagonists are modern-day druids raising a child Merlin.

Honest to god, I was kept in at recess for 4th grade because I hadn't done my cursive homework, and I have had a personal vendetta against it since.

I watched a video from the British Museum where the guy teaches you the rudiments of reading hieroglyphics and it was really cool. What was cooler is that the project is working with local archaeologists to dig at the sites, and training others in methods.

We had an 18 month long house project (non-disclosure by seller created a health hazard) and having to have strangers and put cats away was such an enormous deal. Our cats got pretty wary of unexpected treats and shut doors.
In the end, we just put plywood up. But yes, pants.

Here I am pumping gas at Speedway, and they have those annoying visual ads...and one of them is for weed.
Also, I got a "buy some get some free" weed ad on the local paper they stuff in your mailbox.
It's a weird place to be.
