That's the funny part. VF3 is the only old (well, 5 is old too) to have a scene that's still thriving to the point where it got a japanese arcade rerelease. Places like Mikado arcadr and Game Center Ekuru really like streaming vf3tb. Insane matches especially Ekuru's.

Its why I find competitive VF3 interesting as much as 4 despite the supposed "black sheep" status.
Also "Akira Kid" is "Shin Z" nowadays since VF5.
