Terrible views on my trail run this morning.
Been dealing with some nerve stuff in my neck/shoulder and hesitant to do my normal fairly strenuous exercise… but today was like fuck it, I can walk… accidentally marched myself seven miles and haven’t felt this good in a month!

Worst view ever from my run. I was cracking up and stopped to take this because the radar was clocking me over the 5mph speed limit … seems low if I’m breaking it on foot 😆

I've never even considered subscribing to a substack before but was really excited about a recipe from Ottolenghi, one of my favorite chefs, and wow, just that one meal was worth it.

Sometimes you eat the bear. Sometimes the bear eats you. Sometimes you're lucky enough to have amazing engineers that eat the bear, put up a bear cage, and then tell you it's all handled when you ask if there's any concerns about a bear.

I’ve been slowly adding more and more rye flour into the white bread my kids love. Flavor is so much better (and it’s healthier!) and they don’t even notice 😏

I purchased a case of ball jars on a whim and now I can’t stop pickling things. Please send help. Or give me ideas for more things to pickle. The weirder the better.

I didn't get why Seeking Alpha is consistently so negative on Cloudflare. As an engineer I can't figure out why anyone starting a company today would use anything else. Yes, stock valuation is a high multiple of earnings, but that's what happens for companies where people see the awesome potential.
