I think the movie got Illyana's characterization wrong -- I don't think of her as a mean girl. Hopefully, she'll get a chance to read the comics, especially Bill Sienkiewicz's run on The New Mutants...

I dimly remember seeing a report around the time the show was cancelled that the showrunner hoped to continue the story in other media. Has that happened yet?
