Any time MAGA challenges the Left on any issue whatsoever, the response should be, "Your party puts innocent people in offshore torture prisons".
That's my take as well: "catastrophic" is the right word, if Trump installs a yes-man goon like Hasset.

And if caught, pardons are issued or sold for a tidy sum.

Anyone remember her hounding a nineteen year old David Hogg down the street, spouting her conspiracy theories about the Parkland school shooting? I remember, and won't forget.

Weird: Tom Cotton says they were having a lazy afternoon out, that was spent sunbathing, doing a few boat repairs, and chatting with their narco-terrorist mates by coconut radio.
December 8, 2025 at 5:22 AM
Not a shred of morality in Cotton's body: he's quite happy to wordsmith his way around the deliberate murder of two men. Yet another GOP card-carrying psychopath -- is it really a surprise they give shelter to paedophiles?

Ah, there she is. No accountability, gaslighting and deflecting. It's great to have you back Marge...

It's not complicated: private companies are there to maximize profits, not to deliver the best quality of services at the lowest possible cost. The US healthcare model is not fit for purpose: it is tailored to serve corporate profitability, not consumers healthcare needs.
December 8, 2025 at 4:43 AM
All Cotton's bullshit excuses will be parroted back someday by the US's adversaries, when American troops are being shot up while awaiting rescue.

2/ Research and infrastructure programmes will take years to rebuild. Worse will be the trade and international aid and cooperation work: rebuilding alliances and partnerships won't be fixed with a single election. The world has learned Trump 1.0 wasn't an aberration, and the trust is gone.
December 7, 2025 at 3:36 AM
1/ The Dems absolutely need to do that: they should run on a "Project 2028" mandate. Some of it will be quick and easy - undoing executive orders, etc - but a lot of it will be hard. Rebuilding departments that have been wiped will take a lot of time to fix: so much institutional knowledge is gone.

As a nation facing an existential aging crisis, the self-inflicted damage caused by this unjust war will weigh on Russia for decades.
December 7, 2025 at 3:28 AM
"Military" targets Admiral? You sure about that?
December 7, 2025 at 3:20 AM
The hard truth is that America may be back in 2028, but it is going to find the rest of the world offering a cold shoulder: the US simply can't be trusted to play the role that it used to going forward. Its time as world leader is over, and that's thanks to Trump and his GOP enablers.
December 7, 2025 at 3:18 AM
It will take decades to repair everything. It's so much easier to break things than to build them.
December 7, 2025 at 12:13 AM
Hal, I think your hair stylist is a "terrorist". Does that mean we can bomb them too?

"Zuckerberg just kept submitting money to me. I don't know why. He "trusts" me. Dumb fuck..." -- The Metaverse.
December 6, 2025 at 5:48 AM
Tom Cotton... That is some grade A bullshitting... Seriously? They were just out "sunbathing" and trying to get a waterlogged radio operational, after taking a frigging drone strike... Moron.
December 6, 2025 at 5:44 AM
'Piece of Shit Prize', I could get behind.
December 6, 2025 at 1:57 AM
"Revenge" is rational in this case. Trump 1.0 and aftermath taught them the wrong lesson, that there are no consequences. Fascists need to learn fear again.
