Congratulations to KRB Pipe Major Alexander Walker who has been invited to compete in both the Nicol-Brown Amateur Invitational Piping Competition in Rockville, Maryland and the George Sherriff Memorial Invitational in Hamilton Ontario!

What a weekend at the 159th Scottish Games in Pleasanton, CA!
We debuted our brand-new medley for the first time and placed 6th overall, earning great feedback from the judges and crowd alike. We held strong with 6th places in both the MSR and Time Limit Medley.

We had an amazing time and are so grateful to share the experience with our fellow competitors, volunteers, family, friends, and fans.

The Kevin R. Blandford Memorial Pipe Band extends a heartfelt thank you to the Firefighters Highland Guard of Naperville for their incredible hospitality at the Chicago Highland Games this past weekend. We truly appreciated your generosity in sharing your tents and making us feel so welcome.

The band is looking forward to returning to Chicago next weekend for the great food and competition. You can catch the band playing their MSR at 1:25 PM and their Medley at 2:47 PM. The band's Drum Major will be up at 5:40 PM.

This Mothers' Day, the Kevin R. Blandford Memorial Pipe Band was honored to celebrate with the Trinity Episcopal Church in Redlands. We’re grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to share our music in such a beautiful setting. Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms in our community!

We just wrapped up an incredible two-day retreat, putting in the work on our brand-new Grade 3 MSR. Hours of playing, refining, and pushing ourselves as a band—this set is coming together, and we can’t wait to showcase it! The 2025 competition season is shaping up to be an exciting one!

We had the honor of performing at the Robert Burns Dinner hosted by the Scottish Society of the Inland Empire at the Burrage Mansion in Redlands, CA. From the Address to the Haggis to the lively ceilidh spirit, it was a true celebration of Robert Burns’ legacy.
