Well I guess it's a lot easier to combat these things when 10 million more Democrats actually care to vote to keep the reigns out of the hands of an authoritarian.

Yeah I'd like to bring in more of the working class, period. It's incredible to me that yes, despite anti-union, anti collective bargaining, anti right to work, a contingent, no matter color, still believes they're better off with GOP. We have to better convey that they've been lied to.
June 5, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Well not anti worker if all those tax cuts if all those tax cuts trickle down from above. Oops.

Well I agree there's no room for bigotry, the Democrats have a real problem creating a trusted solidarity with the working class. If Trump is seen as a proletariat hero, Dems have a messaging problem.

I think that we have to do a much better job of convincing those hardcore, working class GOP base members that they were lied to (which they were) rather than harping on the intelligence card. Trust me, I'm just as much to blame but they'll react to that a bit better than they will feeling belittled

Just another way for employers to avoid giving raises when most people who work for tips don't wind up paying federal taxes anyhow.

The rise of Dumb America.

LOL I've read this before, from the author who wrote the book The Case Against Joe Biden. Between staying officials (2) people willfully out to vote in person in the fog of days before and after March 15th to no papers reporting on Reade (most of those papers did), to citing his own surveys.

No no. You implied that if the DNC screwed Bernie once, they'd do you have to do it again. I give you that in 2016 the DNC did treat him unfairly but again, how did the DNC again do so in 2020? Please provide the answer for us bound by mere simple logic.

Still waiting...

That's going deep. I'm going to say Buckaroo Banzai.

Geez I don't know. Distributing a vaccine efficiently saving countless lives. Lowest inflation of any G7 Nation post-Covid? Record low unemployment? Thriving stock market?Bipartisan infrastructure bill? College debt relief? Lower prescription prices? Corporate tax? Green investments. Gun control?
May 14, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Occam's Razor, my friend. Bernie ran undeterred in 2020 and he massively underperformed. It wasn't DNC wrangling, it was simply Americans didn't want a 180 swing from Trump. People also didn't like Bernie as much as they hated Clinton. And in the end, expensive ideas have to be sold to the center.
May 14, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Tell me exactly how the DNC got in the way of Bernie in 2020.
May 14, 2025 at 7:02 PM
And that's because progressives don't ever understand two things. 1.) Progressive platforms are more important than progressive politicians and 2.) Progressive platforms don't go anywhere until they are embraced by the center.
May 14, 2025 at 4:30 PM
This myth that Democrats are holding back progressives is the actual horseshit you're espousing, because it's the will of the people who keep electing candidates. Yes, Bernie got screwed in 16 but he actually lost base in 2020. He got trounced not by the DNC but working folk.
May 14, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Yeah, that's why so many progressives get elected to office since...wait. People are centrists, and on top of that their interests flop between liberal and conservative as evidenced by the fact that leadership goes back and forth every few years.

Some days I think why would anyone against Trump not vote for Harris, even if she was an imperfect candidate. And then many of the same ones who didn't vote Harris then have the stones to complain the Dems aren't doing enough to stop Republicans.
May 13, 2025 at 2:48 AM
If there was any room for me justifying how Schumer could do this, that endorsement completely killed any reason for getting behind voting for the budget.
March 14, 2025 at 5:47 PM
I think we really need someone to produce those pee tapes so we can see exactly why Trump is such a bottom to Putin.
March 3, 2025 at 10:31 AM
Except 1.) he hasn't been reducing debt yet and 2.) He's slashing government jobs and departments to pay for tax cuts for the rich, which is counterproductive to his efforts to reduce costs. He's trying to limit expenditures at the cost of revenue.

How about a link without a referral, to show us how much you care.
February 26, 2025 at 2:10 PM
If we could just get all the Democrats to 1.) actually vote and 2.) do so for the nominee, that would be best.
