I followed the Flaco story closely every day. I don't think that any books will do Flaco any justice. I know enough to be able to form my own opinion about what happened. I only hope that the proceeds from these books will go to a good cause and that the authors will not benefit from this tragedy.

I've read the Wiki page on Flaco. I think that it was his moving away from Central Park that caused his demise. He left because he was being harassed by other birds and ended up eating poisoned rats and pigeons.
Had he remained in CP he would have lived longer. He will live forever in our memory.
