I'm still confused. If a cooler atmosphere can sequester more C02 wouldn't the cooling effects of the volcanic eruption have increased rather than decreased C02 uptake?

I'm having the same struggle with this conversation. I understand the connection between a volcanic erruption and temperature dips - The atmospheric particulate causes energy to bounce back to space.

I do not understand the correlation to C02 growth.
