Experienced it twice, it’s horrendous. Most UK weather I can dress for or cope with but there’s nothing you can do for freezing rain except stay indoors.

If only they could be retrofitted to every house and flats for a reasonable amount. Unfortunately they can’t. My house for example is a new build, built around the combi, I can’t get a heat source pump space outside without compromising something else and no hot water cylinder fits inside. 🤷🏻

Got new management, they were shit, took early retirement, had a cracking summer. I can’t afford to jet off every month but I’ll make ends meet. Loving the freedom and no stress. Hope next year is better for you.
