You're simply wrong. How do I know? Because I've used Enterprise multiple times for beautiful, virtually new pickups when mine was in the shop or when I didn't own a truck. No company colors or stickers.

Incorrect. Many car rental companies rent pickups. It's actually a great way to go if you don't need a truck on a daily basis...especially if you need to drive a ways. Uhaul or big box stores charge mileage. Enterprise, mileage is unlimited.

I've always used the onion/carrots/celery in my pot roast.
Turns out in French it's called a "mirepoix" and it's essential to a lot of recipes...including demi-glace, I'm going to attempt it.
In Italian it's called "soffritto" (added garlic), it's also the base to many great sauce recipes.

I recently read Ina Garten's vodka sauce recipe and she roasts the tomatoes in the pan for 1.5 hours. Probably not exactly your method, but it's a great idea.
