Lately I’ve heard a torch on Making Fun and the Bikini Atoll atomic test (which hit ~300,000°C) all called “hotter than the surface of Sun”
For the record, the Sun’s surface is about 5,500°C — much cooler than its 15 million°C core. So yes, your torch is impressive. But it’s no match for Sun’s core.

Everytime I pester the kids about whether or not they said thank you, I cringe. I immediately think of JD Vance and his now famous “Have you said thank you once?”. And similarly, my reminders were unnecessary.

I don’t totally understand why you can’t wear a t-shirt backwards, but I see daily examples of it from my son, so I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually. It’s all in the neck fitting I think.
