Who I be? I'm figuring that out. I was a Software Engineer for 15 years. I can't do that anymore. It make me feel ill.

Instead? I'm trying to figure out how to be a community organizer. I want to fight effectively for social change. And have fun doing it!

My mom made this protest sign, based on sleepless midnight meditations. I love it. "Choose Love" as a cross, over a red wash, like strips? like blood? With a scattering of stars... What a powerful beckoning call to our nation... to faith. True faith. Faith rooted in love.

"...purity of heart is the one success worth having. 'In the time of your life—live!' That time is short and it doesn’t return again. It is slipping away while I write this and while you read it, and the monosyllable of the clock is Loss, loss, loss, unless you devote your heart to its opposition."

I have to wonder if Gaza does not represent a turning point in world history in the assault with impunity upon indigenous peoples. The mighty have dealt injustice upon the vulnerable for too long. We are beginning to notice and to reckon with it. And if they do not respond, they will be damned.

I love Capitalism. I'm really in trouble now. I owe Amazon 0.56 cents. They're on my ass. I better watch it! Spooky!

You know... I think I'm beginning to understand joy as an act of resistance. It didn't really click for me but I've been chewing on it. As someone who identifies as ambiguously neurodiverse... Being yourself and taking joy in it. Feels like joy and like resistance at the same time.

The problem with believing you belong to the master race is that sooner or later you will realize there is no such thing... And the lie of it will eat you from the inside.

The fact that they're celebrating the bloom of a corpse flower in the Amazon Spheres right now feels like a form of dramatic irony to me...

Here's what I say... Our guiding star should be the humanization of the world. What drains the humanity from the world needs to be fought off. What gives life... Needs to be lifted up. It should be obvious. But we live in an apocalypse. So... I guess not...

Here is the problem with Eurocentric exceptionalism as emphatically demonstrated by Israel and America: There is no point at which you can become terrifying enough that you will ensure your lasting safety. Terror is not a road to safety. Only mutual respect and trust is.

Regarding neurological weird-kid attributes—the fact is, they aren't just stumbling blocks in your way... I mean, let's be real, they are that. But they're also superpowers.

Also, there are no normal people, actually. Your weirdness is just more difficult to disguise.

We must be willing to take ownership of our deepest wounds. I can't say how. But when they become our greatest strengths, in reconciliation, we will be, finally, free.

Thank you, bell hooks, for introducing me to Meshell Ndegeocello, in "Salvation." These songs are warming my soul on a cold morning.

Life is so hard and so painful. Due to this, I feel it is imperative that meaning in it is found. This is why meaning is a life or death issue. We live on meaning because it is the only counterbalance to our inevitable pain.

In this season of hate...

...I think it might be good to revive the idea of a benediction—not just religion—a "good word," a blessing. To offer blessings to our circle of loved ones. And to keep expanding that circle.

Have you ever thought about the ambiguity of the phrase: "Looking for an exit strategy"?

Imagine if every day were a "self-care" day. And so I go through my day and do what I need to do. But all while simultaneously caring for myself.

"The Blessed Augustine once wrote: 'What is the state without justice? A band of robbers.' Even now, fifteen centuries later, many people will, I think, readily recognize the force and accuracy of this judgment." - Alexander Solzhenitsyn
