its like two different interpretations of the subject approaching the Real, kinda. Like, both the arts and the laws of the physical world are part of the Symbolic but they mean something incredibly close to the Real to both subjects.

like. part of it is that they’re a grad student so the level of comprehension and experience they have with writing or whatever is different, but also… That’s why I would expect a little attention from my professors at the very least… Isn’t that the whole point of this class… idk
