That would have been great! You’ve had a fabulous career! I was interviewed on the ABC once. I can’t remember the show, I was a chick engineer and that was a thing. Ironically given our chat, the Oils were in our beloved studio doing Blue Sky Mine and they all watched it with live with me. Trippy.

Oh right I see that now 😁. Wasn’t that incredible? I’ve never forgotten it. I can remember almost the whole Talking Heads set - probably reinforced by the film - note by note. It made a huge impression on me.

Ah!! I saw that one in the cinema too and then made my 15 year old watch it so they could understand how amazing it is to get involved in things you feel are important. And so they understood that if Rob Hirst is playing it’s important to nail the kick to the floor.

Is it the Hardest Line? I saw it in the cinema and just burst into tears at the end. I can’t bear the loss of Bones, and I was so happy to have been at least marginally involved in all that scene and also so sad that we’re where we are now in the world. Charlie is amazing! Magazine or ..?

Right? I used to do FOH for a band called Gondwanaland and we opened for the Oils a bunch on their 20,000 Watt RSL tour. So I was lucky enough to see them in the smaller venue up close. It was epic! Sweat literally dripping from the ceiling.
