Any updates about UK OSA stuff and payment provider stuff?

Im doing some lecturing this weekend and will be handing out custom made handouts for them to make notes on. They are welcome to make notes on their laptops but am encouraging them to write and doodle and get tactile with their note taking

I wonder if an appetite for authenticity (however we define that) in an age of ai auto response emails and slop will bring us back to paper communication. I know I treat handwritten communication different to another email.

I gave a talk this week on the vulnerability of UK institutions to a populist govt and I was told by an audience member that the US and Hungary couldn't happen here. I said it absolutely could and Reform are learning fast. The complacency is scary

I really hope our health agencies and border control start drafting vaccine entry requirements for people travelling from USA. We should treat this threat to global health like we would a novel infectious outbreak.
