North Carolinian here. There’s a long history of state democrats getting elected into positions like attorney general and governor, but in my lifetime, I think we’ve only voted for a democrat president once (2008).

I’ve been hoping this would happen. There’s big enough names and lots of voters who could follow. I can’t figure out why there’s no movement that direction.
