10/10 nostalgia but I think it needed more QoL and to expand on features like the unique map borders and probably introduce new air/naval units.

All in all it was a good nostalgia trip. And I will probably play the local play mode with my kids when they are older. If the game does get a sequel from renewed interest I would like to see them try an RTS.

I think nostalgia is a valid reason to buy this, and if you want to try out a classic game

Wayforward did a good job in general. I only encountered a visual bug or two. Most of the models you look at primarily look good.

Think it is hilarious the game is still at 1.0.0 months after release and my guess is they got all the polish in during the delay.

I would have like to have seen a lot more QoL improvements since it is a remake.

Some of the tedium is also because this game has not aged well. Its cartoony in some of the worst ways and there is friction between taking war seriously and G trated jokes.

This game was tedious. But mostly because there is so much unskippable content. You HAVE to play some of the tutorial. The missions have tutorial text even when you skipped what you can. You can’t skip co power animations. You cant skip battle animations selectively. This was especially annoying
