I know it’s hard to MAKE an actual original scream or suspense SFX but movies or shows who have the same ass sound effects just turns me off regardless if it’s from Hollywood Edge, Dick De Benedictis, The Wilhelm scream Orrrr THIS:

pretty much like anything generic used in media nowadays like the howie scream, chuds drawing women with bigger J cup of boobs in some anime, & of course, the eagle screech & horse neighing sound effect, like ts is so boring as well…

Sliding this here cuz like what’s the point of adding a generic scream in a movie?

to you sound designers out there, you can keep using the same shit as dick de Benedictis music or Wilhelm scream if you’re so desperate for it, putting it on like a dark or serious movie just turns me off, like not being offended, but why does every action movie has to have the same ass Scream ever?

Like I get it it’s the same generic ass sound effect since the guy who got shot by an arrow and gets sent to the alligators, same scene to stormtroopers falling from Star Wars, but why put ts in mostly serious action movies, it doesn’t make no sense no more
