BAHAHAHAHAHAHA tbh it’s really just because story wise nothing really happens. Pokémon’s gameplay imo can get boring really quick if the story doesn’t hit at least a bit. (Also my favorite gen is 4 so it ain’t THAT much later tbf! 🤣)
