This is not new from my understanding.
They have long made it difficult for capital to leave the country. Can’t export gold either. They make it very hard to wire money out of the country.

I am skeptical of this range claim based on the “concept displayed”.
The back of my envelope says for a 12 kn speed, and 5,000 knm range, this would need 102 m³ of diesel. Assuming a cylindrical tank 4.8 m in diameter, it would need to be 3 m long. “ concept displayed” shows no such compartment.
