update 4: was able to pay for blood and pee test today. she's got a heart murmur and will need an ecg which will be almost $800.. ough. I'd like for her to do it as soon as mid February but realistically i won't be able to afford it until March ough

update 3: bringing her to vet today. bracing for big health update for Lucy and the cost, hoping both are as manageable as possible.

update 2: we are finally going home soon. we are going to bring her in this week for blood work and possibly have her visit a vet cardiologist for an ecg. thanks for your support and well wishes. I am so tired

update: vitals are stable so they don't suspect a stroke.. but it was still some kind of scary episode. I'll have to pay for emergency visit + bloodwork + meds at minimum so the financial impact is probably the same.. still waiting on the vet to update me
