This is why I enjoyed the original Nemesis comic bc he has no powers but is this crazy mastermind that always plans years ahead and always having contingencies etc. Nemesis: Reloaded really nerfed his insane cruelty and genius as a character and just kinda made him a "cool bad guy". :\

I think I just like superheroes better when they have no powers and can still stand toe-to-toe with the most powerful villains. There's a gigantic ocean of creative possibilities when there's such a gap in power which is why I'm Pro "Prep-Time" Batman bc I think that is so hilarious and fun. 😂

It was overall a really interesting cross-over event, and I really like all of Millar's stuff, but sometimes his stories reach a point where I'm just like "meh.." at the end of it. STILL a really fun read. Kinda hope there's a Big Game 2 or something that's more fleshed out and less doom-core.

But instead Kick-Ass was just depressed 99% of the series, and then his powers were just GIVEN to him, which is a trope i probably hate the most. Not to mention him and Hit-Girl never interacted even once. I haven't been keeping up, but did they just forget that they knew each other?

It took place some years after Kick-Ass became a superhero in the Millarworld, and everyone is an adult now, so it would have been a way cooler surprise if Kick-Ass was the last one standing and turns out he's the most powerful superhero with no powers to ever live.

I dunno, maybe I'm spoiled because we already have the perfect Fantastic Four movie, which is so crazy bc The Incredibles are supposed to be them. lol

Overall this movie felt like a whole lot of nothing. Galactus was so boring and all he did was walk around. They're really trying to push everything to be set up for Avengers Doomsday and it feels so forced. Also Thunderbolts was ass. Not trying to be a hater. Glad ppl liked it. Just wasn't for me.

Also, Ebon Moss-Bachrach didn't even try to give The Thing a different voice. His normal voice didn't match at all, and that really bothered me. Human Torch/Silver Surfer stuff was the most interesting but that isn't saying much. Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm though? Fantastic. 😎
