Landlord isn't a job and housing barons should be paying the lion's share of housing tax. Give new builds tax concessions for investors short term but encourage them to flip and build.

Housing mobility is good but yes the tax system needs to move to facilitate housing people who need it. I believe in progressive taxation on property assets with tax exemption for first property.
