Young stroke survivor here. I had daily cognitive checks while I was in the hospital (passed them all, thankfully), plus multiple CT scans as an inpatient, and 2 outpatient MRI scans of my brain. I still remember what they were checking for, and I'm coming up on the 10-year mark.
